Education Projects

Of all the issues we try to tackle each and every day, education is arguably the most vexing. It is both a root cause of many other issues we face and also a symptom of myriad other structural problems. What to do?

Clearly there are a ton of ways to go about addressing educational issues in Oracabessa. We've decided to address the issue of vocational skills training for under-skilled residents in the area. Our thinking is that this intervention will help local people get jobs and take better care of their families. The result has been our partnership with the community of Jacks River to establish the Jacks River H.E.A.R.T. Training Centre.
